I am a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (L-CAT) in New York State and I am available for supervision to art therapists who are seeking NYS Creative Arts Licensure.
Once a student graduates from a program in Art Therapy, they can start obtaining supervision for client contact hours that will count toward your L-CAT.
It is required that you have supervision from a L-CAT or similiar field. Please see http://www.op.nysed.gov/catlic.htm for more information on supervision requirements.
Specialties include: children and adults with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injury (TBI), geriatric populations, at-risk adolescents and children and adults with chronic mental illness.
I offer individual and group therapy supervision rates at affordable prices for recent graduates!
Please email shannon_halligan@yahoo.com with questions.

The Anti-Coloring Book
This is a wonderful book that I have used over the years for clients in art therapy. There are some great directives and ways to get into the flow of art therapy sessions...
